Natural bowls include any bowl made from a tree limb or tree trunk without any pre-processing.  I like to turn natural bowls while they are still green, or wet, for a couple of reasons.  First off, a green blank is easier and more fun to turn, and easier on the tools.  Second, I don't have to wait eight months or more to complete the piece by allowing it to dry after rough turning.  And third, I think that allowing the bowl to warp a little bit naturally after turning it gives it some added character.

Below are some of the pieces I've turned.  Click on the thumbnail to view a larger image.

Prices for natural bowls depend on size, complexity, and the type of wood. More heavily spalted or figured woods require more time and attention to detail.
